Shelter in a Jiff

As an American who loves to ride his motorcycle on the open road, I have often faced troubles when it comes to shelter and there were times that I could only get under a poncho tied to my bike and pinned with rocks on the other end. This day, while the clouds roamed in, I decided that those days of getting wet and being attacked by various insects must come to an end. I had set aside $100 for a tent that would keep me dry, comfortable and keep the bugs away. I was a few miles from a truck stop that serves the best coffee and mouthwatering fresh doughnuts. Add to that they provide free WiFi access and that is where I will be making my Amazon pick of the best tent for one.
At the truck stop, I grabbed my laptop and headed into the diner and made my way to a table. I turned my laptop on, connected to the internet and made my way to Amazon.com. Before the nice waitress got me my coffee and doughnut, I had already selected three solo tents that would be worthy of the best tent for one. As I sipped my coffee and enjoyed my delicious doughnut, I ran through their features and benefits and here is what I thought about each one.

Final Thoughts/Conclusion

I know that there would be other listings on Amazon by the time you read this so check them out for the latest deals. The Eureka! Solitaire Tent was an excellent choice that fit well with the budget that I had and the other two were equally packed with features and benefits that fit my needs. I was even willing to spend a little extra but the ALPS Mountaineering Mystique 1.0 Tent (1-Person 3-Season) was 4 pounds which was heavier than the Eureka! Solitaire Tent. The Eureka! Spitfire Tent on the other hand was similar to the Solitaire but the price was higher, so I chose the first one I stumbled onto which was the Eureka! Solitaire Tent. The package should be waiting for me at my buddy’s house a few hundred miles away. Plenty of riding in between and I hope it doesn’t rain.
